Breakfast Pizza

We had family stay with us this past weekend, and it was the perfect oppurtunity for me to make this, cause it is such a big breakfast. Everybody loved it, including my 1 year old :) This pizza is made with a croissant dough and sausage gravy in place of pizza sauce. Yeah that's right, sausage gravy, mmmmmmm.

You will need;
1 refridgerated tube of croissants (8 count)
1 pkg. McCormick sausage gravy mix
6 eggs, scrambled
8 sausage links, crumbled
1 small red pepper, chopped
1/2 white onion, chopped
2 cups of colby/jack shredded cheese

Prepare the gravy according to pkg.
Roll out your croissant dough into a 16x20 sheet pan, and cover the dough with 'about' a cup of gravy, you know how much gravy you'd prefer. I prefer a lot.

Next, sprinkle 1 cup of the cheese over the gravy. Now take your scrambled eggs and just toss 'em on..

Now, add the onion and pepper

And then the sausage and rest of the cheese

Forget what the croissant directions say for cooking time, it will take much longer with this stuff piled on. Bake at 450 for approx 15 min, or until edges start to brown.
Slice this bad boy up and dig in.
